Tia Robinson’s “Red Tape Workshop” has become a regular event for ELTABB. It’s a great opportunity to learn how to navigate the complex bureaucracy that Germany is famous for with a special focus on the needs of ELT practitioners here in Berlin.
This workshop is aimed at teachers at all stages of their career, though it could be of particular interest for those who have just moved to Berlin or recently started teaching. Please bring your questions! And post them below on the Comment Wall before the workshop so that Tia can be sure to cover everything.
Bio: Tia Robinson is the cofounder of language school and relocation company Expath, which was inspired in part by her own experience struggling to get various work permits and deal with other German bureaucracy. She was born in Ohio, USA and taught English in the US, France and Turkey before moving to Berlin in 2007. She became a proud German citizen in 2017 and lives in Tempelhof with her husband, daughter and two black cats.
