Connect Berlin e.V. - "English Speakers Cultural Club", probably the most general club in Berlin for people who speak English as their native language or who want to practice their English. Very active.

English Tours in Berlin

Underground Tours of Berlin - I went on an English speaking tour of the WWII bunker under Oranienburg U-Bahnhof. The tour guide unlocks a green door that you pass everyday on your way to the U-Bahn, you walk through it and you are in 1942. Recommendable!

English Bookstores in Berlin

Another Country - More of a library and club, Alan the owner is fun to talk to, a VERY laid back place. Lots of books for kids, novels, can spend an hour there easy. Nice, old, used-bookstore aroma.

Teaching Resources in Berlin

LISUM - Berliner Landesinsitut für Schule und Medien - I have checked out lots of English books here that I used with my kids and in classes. They also have a large French and Spanish section. The English section has lots of videos, magazines, maps, etc. Worth taking a look. Located near Spittelmarkt U2 in Mitte.

English Theater in Berlin

English Theatre Berlin - A lively theatre, nice English productions. I also saw this on the site "Two volunteers per performance sell tickets and drinks before the show and perform some light cleaning (dishes, sweeping). And for that they get to see the performance for free!"

Platypus Theatre - I went to two shows, one for adults, one for children- I wasn't disappointed either time. They grade their plays for English learners- might be a softer start for low level learners compared to Friends of Italian Opera. Platypus also send out material for teachers upon request to work with in class.

English Cinemas in Berlin

Film Club - I used to see English movies at Die Kurbel in Charlottenburg but just called and they said they don't have any English movies playing there now. Where do you go see English movies in Berlin? Until then, contact this film club, they seem to watch a movie in English every other Tuesday night.
anonymous: Cinestar Sony Center at Pots Platz always has OV films - most Hollywood types in English.

Odeon - Movies in English, click upper-left on "Orginalfassungen"
sue : Babylon cinema in Dresdner Strasse, near Kotbusser Tor, also shows many movies with subtiltles and is worth a link
