English Language Teachers' Association Berlin-Brandenburg
a voluntary association of teachers of English founded on the principle of "teacher helping teacher"
Simone Neumann
A decision was due.
In my case, I decided to return to Germany and move to Berlin after many years of living in Ireland and France. A metamorphosis took place from a clay- and dust-covered potter to a certified language business woman with clean finger nails.

What began as 'proper and pure' English language training in 1999, naturally developed into intercultural training, coaching in both English and German as well as translation & proofreading En-Ge-En. My specialities are rail/logistics matters, legal and looted art in the 20th century of German history. Real estate management is another and who knows, marketing is just around the corner from language, so there is more scope for development.

Being a non-native speaker in an overall native speaker environment bears its challenges. The good thing in it is that I never leave the learner's perspective behind.
