English Language Teachers' Association Berlin-Brandenburg
a voluntary association of teachers of English founded on the principle of "teacher helping teacher"
David Meier
I moved to Germany specifically in 2006 from NYC to further pursue a career in opera and having endured too many years of the Bush Administration. I fell in love with Berlin after a visit in 2002, and knew then I would be returning. My first visit to Berlin was as a 'Berlin Brat' when my stepfather was stationed here during the Cold War.

I teach English as a Second Language to a variety of age and interest groups: Listening and Reading Comprehension, as well as writing skills to university students preparing for their proficiency exams. At a private day school, I bring a native speaker flair to the upper level students, as well as supplementing their classroom material. All of these jobs I received networking through ELTABB.

For corporate as well as private clients, I bring 15 years of corporate experience in the Healthcare, Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Finance and Legal industries as a communications professional in Executive Education, Public Relations and Employee/Internal Communications, as well as Press Relations, Crisis and Change Management. Previous employers include Johnson & Johnson, Sanofi-Synthelabo, Biotech Industry Organization, Cravath Swaine & Moore, and several major US investment banking firms.
