 The email list is the central means of communication for ELTAB-B. Jobs are often advertised here, and this is where you’ll find the most up-to-date information on workshops and events. (The board sends out all information by mail four times a year but members are informed of any changes or additional events via the list.)
 | Subscribe to the list
Send an email to eltabb_email_list-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. You should send the email from the address at which you wish to receive ELTABB emails. Please note that your request will only be approved if you're a paid-up member of ELTABB.

 | I don’t want to receive 10 emails in a single day! (Note: This rarely happens anyway!) What can I do? Sign up for a daily digest instead!
a) Go to http://groups.yahoo.com and sign in. (If you can’t remember your ID, click on ‘Forgot your ID or password?’)
b) On the left, you’ll see the groups you’re subscribed to. Click on eltabb_email_list.
c) On the next page, click on ‘Edit my membership’ (on the top right).
d) Under ‘Message Delivery’, select ‘Daily digest’ and save changes. Ta da! You’ll now receive at most a single email a day which compiles all the messages sent that day.

 | I don’t want to receive any emails! What other options do I have?
Sign up for the no email option and read the messages on the internet!
Follow steps 1-3 above.
- Under ‘Message Delivery’, select ‘No email’ and save changes.
Then, to read the messages, just log into the Yahoo! website. If you choose this option, do visit the website at least weekly to keep up with changes.

 | I don’t have an internet connection!
All Berlin public libraries allow you to use the internet for free. Find the nearest branch at https://www.voebb.de/. Also, there are loads of internet cafes where one can check one’s email cheaply. See http://www.world66.com/europe/germany/berlin/cybercafes/ for a list.
